About Me

I have always believed that stories are where the impossible becomes possible. I am a lifelong lover of fiction—especially fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, horror, and folklore. I have always carried vivid worlds in my imagination and longed to bring them to life on the page. After years of dreaming and scribbling, I have brought to life the first of many books—Firestarter. It is the first book in my Sanctuary novels.

I was born and raised in Athens, Alabama—a small town in the deep south. I have moved around a bit with my husband, always staying in North Alabama, but I am back to my hometown, where we raise our four amazing children. Outside of writing, I work in higher education at a local University, volunteer in ministry, and coach youth volleyball. I love all things Disney, being creative, and spending as much time as possible with my family.
